Rossville Holiday Classic With all the holiday food, no need to make weight Rossville High School Sunday January 2nd, 2011 Deadline 12/31/10 WEIGH INS: Saturday 5-7 PM AND Sunday 7:30-8:30 AM Limit to 600 kids, Expanded to 2 gyms and 10 Mats WRESTLERS DO NOT HAVE TO MAKE WEIGHT!!!!!!!! ENTER YOUR WRESTLERS AT KANSAS WEIGHT CLASS THEY WOULD NORMALLY WRESTLE MADISON BLOCK WRESTLING FORMAT!! ATHLETES WILL BE BRACKETED THAT DAY AT WHATEVER WEIGHT THEY ARE AT WEIGH IN COACHES MEETING 9:00 am Wrestling starts at 10am or sooner Madison Block groups kids by weight not weight class. So it will take the first 4 or 8 kids in an age group and put them together. Example: 6&u 32lb,34lb,35lb,36lb but the next weight 7% more, the first kids go to a 4 man round robin and the next kids starts a new bracket. Also if you alway wrestle your kid 5 lbs heavier to make weight. At this event he would be more likely to wrestle kids around his actual weight. With the holiday there is less practice and more eating. This way kids are grouped by what they weight that day not having to make a special weight. Please rate your wrestlers: A: state qualifier, B: good, C: average, D: novice If you want your wrestler in A bracket, rate them an A. They do not have to be a state qualifier!! CONCESSIONS: BREAKFAST AND LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED!! NO COOLERS IN THE GYNAMSIUM!!! Enter all wrestlers on TRACKWRESTLING prior to event.
