NORTH IDAHO PANHANDLE CHAMPIONSHIPS The North Idaho Wrestling League Consists of 11 Teams. There are over 500 kids in the league. These kids will NOT be signing up on Trackwrestling for this tournament. They are already pre registered for the tournament. WEIGH IN TIMES: Pre Bantam: 7:00 A.M. - 8:00 A.M. Bantam: 7:00 A.M. - 8:30 A.M. Intermediate - Middle School: 7:00 A.M. - 9:00 A.M. GROUPS: Pre Bantam: 2008 & Later Bantam: 2006 - 2007 Intermediate: 2004 - 2005 Novice: 2002 - 2003 Middle School: 1/1/1999 - 12/31/2001 We have combined the Schoolboy and Cadet Division. Pre Bantams will begin wrestling at 9:00 A.M. Bantams will follow as soon as the Pre Bantams finish, or if there is open mat space. Pre Bantams and Bantams will use an 8 Man Bracket. Intermediate through Cadet(Middle School Division) will use 16 man Brackets. The true 2nd in each individual bracket will not be used at this tournament. In the 16 Man brackets there will be no cross overs. Medals for Pre Bantams and Bantams will be to 3rd Place. In the 16 Man brackets they will medal to 6th place. No call in weights or weight allowances. The USA weight reduction rule is in force. Singlets must be worn at weigh in. This Tournament is double sanctioned. You do not need a USA card to wrestle. We have insurance coverage through NHSCA for those that do not have USA Cards. Coaches will need to check in and get a wrist band to be allowed on the floor. There is only 1 coach allowed mat side with the wrestler. No parents are allowed on the floor or mat side. They must remain in the stands. This will be enforced.
