Green Hope Grapple Individual wrestling tournament (Formerly the Crescent State Bank Tournament) Saturday, December 1st 2012 at Green Hope HS 2500 Louis Stephens Rd Cary, NC 27519 Dear Coaches, You expressed interest in the Green Hope Grapple Individual Wrestling Tournament in Cary, NC. We are glad to have you join us this year to kick off the month of December wrestling. If you have received this in error or are no longer the coach at your school please let me know. Our goal is to provide your team the opportunity to wrestle individuals both in and out of your conference to better prepare your team for the 2012-2013 wrestling season. Please review the following contract and sign and return with your intent and payment to participate in the tournament this year. If in Wake County, this can be couriered to me at Green Hope Elementary school attention Steve Gursslin or mailed to me at Green Hope HS. I would like to have this sent to me by November 1st as I need to order t-shirts and awards. There are also some other schools that are waiting to see if we have room but I wanted to give all of you the opportunity to reply first. Any questions can be sent to sgursslin@wcpss.net. So far there are 17 schools that expressed interest in attending: Athens Drive, Broughton, Cape Fear, Cardinal Gibbons, East Chapel Hill, Eastern Wayne, Enloe, Franklinton, Fuquay Varina, Green Hope, Lee County, North Johnston, Sanderson, South Central, South East Raleigh, Wakefield We will use 5 mats and will have JV matches during the necessary breaks. Green Hope Grapple Individual wrestling tournament Medals for the top 3 individual placers. Individual champ will get a t-shirt. Trophies will be presented to the Team Champion and Team Runner-Up and MOW. Seeding will be State Place(2011-2012), Regional Place(2011-2012), Record(2011-2012), Record(2012). Weigh-ins: 7:30-8:30 a.m. Coaches Meeting: 9:00 a.m. First Round: promptly by 9:30 a.m. J.V. Matches: will be done in between rounds as time allows There will be a fantastic hospitality room for all coaches and officials. Concessions will be made available to all wrestlers and supporters. No coolers will be allowed in the gyms. T-shirts will be on sale. Trainers will be available.
