All wrestlers must weigh-in and register at Fond du Lac High school on Friday, March 9th. ---------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------ WISCONSIN WRESTLING FEDERATION KIDS FOLKSTYLE STATE REGIONAL TOURNAMENT Saturday, March 10th, 2012 Wrestling starts at 8:30AM for Boys Born in 2003-04 and Born in 2001-02 & All Girls Age Groups Wrestling starts at 11:30 PM for Boys Born in 1999-00 and Born in 1997-98 Age Groups Registration & Weigh-ins: Friday March 9th, 5:30-8:00PM. There will be no Saturday Morning Weigh-in This Year! Wisconsin Residents Only Singlet & Headgear Required Wrestlers Must Wear Singlet at Weigh-ins This is a qualifier for the WWF Kids Folkstyle State Tournament to be held March 23rd & 24th at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison. In the Boys and Girls Divisions the TOP TWO place winners in each age and weight class qualify for the state tournament. All qualifiers must make the same weight class at the state tournament that they qualified for at the regional; there is no weight allowance at state. Proof of Birth year must be shown at registration or should be included with the pre-registration form unless you are listed on the WWF Birth year list on the WWF website. Wrestlers will not be allowed to wrestle without proof of birth year taken care of. Your Current USA Card must be shown at registration and the number should be included on the pre-registration form. If you do not have a card you will be able to purchase one at the tournament site or can be bought online ahead of time by going to the Membership Page on the WWF website. Parent or guardian MUST sign waiver below. Checks should be made payable to each individual club, please check listing below. Pre-registration that is mailed in must be postmarked by 3/3/12 for $12 Entry Fee; $17 at the Door; Wrestlers can also pre-register on-line for $13 for any of the Regional Sites on www.trackwrestling.com by 3/5/12 Warning: The Regional sites will be enforcing the WIAA finger nail length rule along with the hair length rule. If a wrestler?s hair is too long, wrestlers will have to wear a bonnet or get it cut before they can wrestle. Girls with longer hair must wear a bonnet; it is not acceptable just putting it in a ponytail. They also will enforce the WIAA mouth guard rule for wrestlers with braces. At the beginning of the match, once a wrestler reports to the center of the mat they can not leave the center to go to the coach or parent and will be warned the first time in the match and then penalty points will be awarded to the opponent. Girls must wear a female cut singlet or wear an approved undergarment underneath their singlet.
