The annual State Games, taking place in Birmingham June 22-24, encompasses 25 different sports with over 100 different sporting events and is the largest athletic amateur event in Alabama. The 2012 State Games Opening Ceremonies will be held in Birmingham inside the BJCC Arena on Friday, June 22 at 6:45 pm and be televised live statewide.
