2018 Perkins County Junior Varsity Wrestling Invite Date: Tuesday, January 9, 2018 Site: Perkins County High School (Grant) Coaches Meeting: 1:30 MT/2:30 CT Time: Wrestling will begin at 2:30 MT/3:30 CT Teams: Chase County, Dundy County-Stratton, Garden County, Gothenburg, Hershey, Kimball, Maxwell, McCook, Ogallala, North Platte, North Platte St. Pats, Sydney, Sedgwick County, & Wray. Officials: Duane Skiles, Lynn Rinehart, Ken Schneider, Matt Skiles Please let us know if you will be attending the Perkins County JV invite. Weigh-Ins: We will use the NSAA Home Weigh In Procedure. Please send your list of Wrestlers to dean.friedel@perkinscountyschools.org Have your completed weigh-in form faxed or emailed to Lance Steffen lance.steffen@perkinscountyschools.org Fax: 308-352-4769 by 9AM the day of the meet. Please also send scratch and add at this time. Non-Varsity Home Weigh-Ins: (From the NSAA Manual) 1. Nebraska schools will be allowed to use home weigh-ins for non-varsity competition only. 2. Coaches must create and use a Pre-Meet Weigh-In Form through the NWCA site. 3. Schools must FAX or present the completed weigh-in form on site. 4. The weigh-in must take place on the same day as the competition. 5. The weigh-in may NOT be used to establish a ?scratch? or minimum weight class. 6. Host schools must use NFHS established weight classes. 7. Coaches must enter all weigh-in data into the NWCA web site prior to the next competition at any level. Brackets: Wrestlers will be placed in brackets based on the current weight class system. The goal is to get inexperienced wrestlers matches, so if possible we will use a 4-Man round robin bracket. Please send a typed list of your wrestlers, weight class and record. Matches: Will be conducted as 2-2-2 in Round Robin Brackets. Mats: We will be using 3 mats. Awards: No Medals will be given and no team scores will be kept. Entry Fee: $25 per school or $5 per wrestler if less than five wrestlers. Locker Rooms: Wrestlers will share the downstairs locker room locker room. Concessions: Concessions will be available Parking: Please park on the North side of the school.
