WELCOME TO THE 2015 OMRO WRESTLING TOURNAMENT January 10th Omro High School would like to welcome you to the Omro Wrestling Tournament. We ask for your assistance in helping us make this an enjoyable day for all involved. We ask all spectators to remain in the stands; please do not block walkways surrounding the mats. All videotaping must be completed in the stands, no one except wrestlers called on deck are allowed to be at mat side. We ask that all wrestlers and spectators do not bring glass containers into the gym. A concession stand is located in the commons to the west of the gym. Please dispose of beverage containers and food wrappers in garbage cans. Your help in these matters is greatly appreciated. The following schedule of events is planned for the 2015 Omro Tournament. We will attempt to follow the plan as close as possible, but please realize that these times are approximate and may vary through out the day. Schools Attending: Omro, Chilton, Freedom, Hustisford, Kewaunee, Oshkosh Lourdes, Wautoma, Oakfield, Necedah Time Line: 7:00 School Opens – A list of your wrestlers will be available 8:00-9:00 Weigh-ins – Omro Team Wrestling Room 9:00-9:30 Coaches Meeting – Remember that this is a pre-seeded invitational. This means that you cannot ask for a higher seed. 10:00 Wrestling Starts Format: This tournament is a pre-seeded 8 man scramble format. Entry Fee: $150.00 There will be 3 full mats – all rounds. Each Wrestler will have a potential of 5 matches, depending on how many wrestlers are in their weight class. Awards presentations will take place on the south/east end of the gym. We ask that all spectators refrain from standing in this area so photos can be taken. Bracket sheets will be located in the commons on the Trophy Cases.
