2016 California Elementary State Date: Saturday, January 30, 2016 Weigh-ins: Friday, January 29, 5:30pm - 8:00pm. Saturday, January 30, 6-7a.m. Location: Selma High School, 3125 Wright St, Selma, CA 93662 Division 1 Eligibility: Must be born 2004 - 2006 55, 60, 66, 72, 78, 84, 90, 96, 103, 112, 125, 125+ (30 lbs maximum difference) Division 2 Eligibility: Must be born 2007 - 2011 (Wrestlers born 2010 & 2011 can only wrestle 40 or 45) 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 76, 76+ Top 6 seeds will be based on seeding information. Entries received after 7pm Wednesday, January 27 will not be seeded. Entry Fee: $30 Online Registration Deadline: Thursday, January 28 at 9 pm Walk-Up Registration: $50. Friday night only. No Saturday walk-ups. First Aid: A trainer will be on duty throughout the tournament. FORMAT: Double Elimination - Referee decisions are final. All protests to be directed to tournament director using National Federation High School Rules. Time Periods: 1 - 1 - 1 Championship & Consolation. Overtime: NFHS Rules. Awards: 1st through 6th, Outstanding Wrestler Awards in the lower and upper weight. Finals: Finals on 2 mats Team Championship: Trophies will be awarded to the top 2 clubs. Coaching Floor Passes: Coaching bands will be enforced. Teams with 5 or fewer wrestlers will receive 1 band. Teams with 6 to 10 wrestlers will receive 2 bands.
