`523 - Sean Felkins Tournament October 16, 2022 Pemberton High School 148 Arneys Mount Road Pemberton Township, NJ 08068 This tournament has been established to honor the life and legacy of Sean Felkins. Sean M. Felkins ? 57, of Burlington Township, NJ ended his courageous 5-year battle with kidney cancer and passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Friday, April 22, 2022. Sean was born October 10, 1964, grew up in Browns Mills, NJ and was a 1982 graduate of Pemberton Township High School. Sean was fortunate to spend the last 30+ years doing what he truly loved ? all things wrestling. A highly respected referee, he officiated at every level of competition. He was especially proud of being a 5-time State Finals Official. Sean also served as president, secretary and most recently cadet supervisor for the NJWOA ? Southern Chapter. He spent countless hours in support of the Grapevine League and its annual tournament. His dedication and passion for the sport is unsurpassed. He is a legend in the wresting community and will be remembered and missed by so many. He loved being on the mat with Brandon this past season and teaching him to carry on #523. Sean also leaves behind his loving wife Deborah and his daughter Danielle. To all who don the stripes and sling a whistle - `Be Like 523`. Our tournament will be formatted as a team duals event with youth (k-8) and high school (9-12) divisions. The day will also feature a clinic with collegiate wrestlers and coaches. Wrestlers may register as part of a team or you can sign up individually and you will be placed either on a team needing someone in your weight-class or be placed on a squad of free agents.
