Welcome to the 2017 Diego Gadea Salpointe Catholic Invitational! Thank you for participating in this year?s
tournament. Below are a few reminders and a schedule for the weekend. All times are approximate. Last year, we
were right on schedule. With your help, we?ll hopefully do it again this year.
BUS PARKING: Please park buses on the NORTH side of Copper Street. Buses WILL NOT be allowed to enter
through the Mountain Avenue gate.
VANS and SPECTATOR PARKING: Vans and cars may park in the Quarterback Club parking lot. Enter through
the Mountain Avenue gate and park in the first parking lot immediately on the right. TPD will ticket vehicles parked
on the SOUTH side of Copper Street.
SCHOOL IS IN SESSION: Please keep your students in gym area. Campus Security will detain non-Salpointe
students found wandering campus. The head coach will be notified. The student will be released only to a coach.
ADMISSION: $5 per session or $10 for Tournament Pass for all 3 sessions. AIA passes with one guest.
3 sessions ? 1 session Friday, 2 Sessions Saturday (Morning Session and Medal Round).
CONSESSIONS/HOSPITALITY ROOM: Concessions available to public. Hospitality Room available for
Officials and banded coaches only.
SEEDING MEETING: 6:45 PM, Thursday, January 19 in Salpointe Wrestling Room. Please submit roster no
later than 3:00 PM, Thursday, January 19.
WEIGH IN?S: 7:00 AM both days. Please have NWCA weigh in sheet for both days. No one will be allowed to
check weight or leave the weigh in and come back once team weigh in has begun.
LOCKER ROOM and SHOWERS: Locker room will be available to change in the morning. However, locker
room and showers will not be available after wrestling begins.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 20, 2017
7:00 AM ? Weigh In
8:30 AM ? Doors open to the public/Coaches Meeting in Hospitality Room
9:00 AM ? Wresting Begins until done
SATURDAY, JANUARY 21, 2017
7:00 AM ? Weigh in
8:30 AM ? Doors open to the public/Coaches Meeting in Hospitality Room
9:00 AM ? Wrestling begins up to Medal Round (Finals and Consolation Finals)
Gym will be cleared of spectators AND teams before the medal round.
5:00 PM ? Medal Round wrestlers meet in wrestling room
5:15 PM ? Introductions/National Anthem and Prayer
5:30 PM ? MEDAL ROUND 1st/2nd Mat 2 (center); 3rd/4th Mat 1 (north); 5th/6th Mat 3 (south)
Medal Round will begin with HWT and move down in reverse order of weight classes.
