Dear Coach,
As you are aware the annual Richardson Memorial Wrestling Tournament will be held on Friday and Saturday Jan. 10,11 2014. I am looking forward to a great tournament and I am glad your team will be entered this year. The following teams will be entered:
Box Elder Bountiful Roy Viewmont
Bear River Logan Star Valley, Wyo. Skyview
Clearfield Layton Murray Weber
Fremont Mountain Crest Olympus West Jordan
Blackfoot,Id Pocatello, Idaho
Coaches,
Each year I find that we have some that try to enter more than one wrestler on the jv level. Please just enter one wrestler per weight per team. I look at the bracket and then only add wrestlers once I see that the bracket might not be full. Obviously when there might be an opening the first one will be filled by a Box Elder extra first. I only will do that if the bracket isn`t full. If I don`t have a wrestler for that weight then I will call you and have you let me know who you might be able to add. So once you fill the bracket send me an email if there might be an extra kid that you would like to see if there might be a spot.
Team entry fees will be ($400.00) entry fee, due and payable to Box Elder Wrestling, at the seeding meeting. This year the weights will be as follows: 108 (pounds), 115,122, 128, 134, 140, 147, 154, 162, 172, 184, 197, 222 and 287.. Again this year in conjunction with the Varsity Tournament we will also host a Junior Varsity Tournament. Please let me know your JV lineup as soon as possible. I want to know exactly how many bouts I need to plan on. Also, I need to know who your JV wrestler is, his record, and any outstanding accomplishments this year. We will run the tournament on Trackwrestling again this year so I will be sending you information on how to register your wrestler at a later date.
I am looking forward to seeing you on the 11th and 12th of January. If there are any problems or questions please contact me as soon as possible.
This year we are trying to put a nice program together. I need the following information: name, year, record, returning state placer of the varsity entry.
Sincerely,
Mike Ripplinger
