Times: Weigh-ins: 3 PM Wrestling: 4 PM Entry Fee: $100, all profits will be equally divided among the region schools. The $100 entry fee is to ensure the tournament does not go negative. Officials were given a significant increase in pay which is the reason for the $50 increase. Seeding: Please send the following information to me for seeding. It is listed in order of criteria. 1. Region dual meet record AT THE WEIGHT THEY ARE WRESTLING IN THE TOURNAMENT. (ex. Matt Leach was 6-1 in his region duals. He was 5-0 at 106, and 1-1 at 113. He is wrestling in the tournament at 106, so his seeding record is 5-0). ******Please count forfeits as wins****** 2. Overall record 3. Comments: a. Head to head information b. Wins at other weight classes in the region dual meets ***We will seed by region dual meet record % at that weight first. If there is a tie, then overall record, duals at other weights, and head to head are considered, but Region Duals are the top criteria. If Matt Leach is 1-2 vs. Chris Teague, but the win was in the region dual, Leach will be seeded higher. Per SCHSL rules, this is a qualifying tournament, and awards cannot, so PLEASE explain to wrestlers and parents there are no medals awarded. There is one division (JV) that will include 7th-10th graders. No 11th or 12th graders.
