WEIGH-INS ? 7:00AM in the NM Wrestling Room (next to the Gym and Locker Rooms).
BOYS Weight Classes: 105, 115, 122, 128, 134, 140, 147, 154, 162, 172, 184, 197, 222, 287
GIRLS will weigh-in in the Girl?s PE Locker Room. Pooled weights will be used for the Girls Tournament.
The pre match weigh in form dated February 20, 2016 must be turned in at the time of weigh-ins. All wrestlers MUST be in the weigh-in area by 7:00am. Once in the weigh&80;in area no dehydration techniques will be allowed. Upon completion of weigh&80;ins and skin check, athletes will exit the weigh&80;in area after receiving their hand stamp.
WRESTLING BEGINS: 9:00am on 3 mats
ADMISSION:
Adults/Students w/o ASB $7.00
Students w/ASB $5.00
Students in Grades K-8 $3.00
Seniors 62 and Older Free
FINALS BEGIN: 5:00pm on 3 mats (VAR 1st, VAR 3rd, JV 1st, & GIRLS 1st). The Event Center will be cleared prior to the Finals and admission will be charged for entry into the Finals.
SNACK BAR: Will be available throughout the tournament.
TRAINER: A certified Athletic Trainer will be on site. If you have taping needs, please bring your own athletic tape.
AWARDS: At the conclusion of the Finals, awards will be presented to the top 3 placers in the Varsity division, 1st Girls and JV division. Each contestant must report in her school`s warm-ups to receive his/her medal (no hats please).
SEEDING MEETING: Thurs 2/18 at 6:00pm in the NM Event Center Team Room (next door to AD office)
We will be using TRACKWRESTLING so you will receive an email explaining how to enter your wrestlers into the system.
T-SHIRTS: Custom MVAL Championships T-shirts will be on sale. Coaches: please email BILLIE@thetshirtguy.com with your team roster by Fri 2/12 so he can put them on the tournament t-shirt.
