'` Coaches, The following information is for the 2021 Cache Valley Classic (CVC). The tournament will be hosted at Green Canyon High School. The Varsity tournament is a dual tournament with 9 teams (8 matches for each wrestler). The JV tournament is a 6 man pool scramble tournament and will be wrestled on 3 mats (5 matches for each wrestler). We will plan on filling in all varsity holes with any team?s wrestlers that they feel can compete safely. Awards will be given to undefeated varsity wrestlers and champions of the JV pools. Tournament Fees: Varsity $325.00 Junior Varsity - $15.00 per wrestler. Thursday, December 9th 2021 ? All teams will receive an online link to enter their wrestlers information for the tournament through www.trackwrestling.com. The link will be sent to the head coach with a login and password. Coaches will have until Thursday at 11:00 pm MST to enter all wrestlers and make any changes needed. We will be capping each team with 20 JV kids. The JV tournament will not complete on time with more than 180 wrestlers. We will allow for teams to bring additional wrestlers once we have preliminary head count Friday, December 10th 2021 ?Weigh-ins will be at Green Canyon in the main gym at 1:00 PM. Wrestling will start at 3:00 PM. Saturday, December 11th 2021 ? Weigh-ins will be held at 8:00 am, wrestling will start at 9:00 am. Breaks in wrestling will be based on completions of varsity duals. If we start to run ahead of schedule we will finish slightly early as well. Coaches: - Dinner will be provided on Friday. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided on Saturday.
