Indiana High School Wrestling Coaches Association Presents The Twelveth Annual Middle School State Championships Sunday, February 11, 2018 New Castle High School Fieldhouse 801 Parkview Drive, New Castle, Indiana NO CARD IS NEEDED TO COACH YOUR WRESTLER AT THIS EVENT!! ELIGIBILITY: This tournament is open to any wrestler in grades 6TH - 7TH & 8TH who is enrolled in an Indiana Middle School who has not completed at least one year of 8TH Grade. Each wrestler must have a valid USA Wrestling competitors card in order to participate. USA Wrestling Competitors Card will not be sold on site. You can purchase them online. WEIGHTS: 75 - 80 - 85 - 90 - 95 - 102 - 110 - 117 - 125 - 132 - 140 - 150 - 160 - 175 - 195 - 220 - 275 REGISTRATION: All registration and payment will take place on-line @ trackwrestling.com. No registrations by mail or on-site will be accepted. Payment will be required at the time you register. Deadline for on-line registration is 11:00 PM (EST), Friday, February 9th, 2018. NO REFUNDS WEIGH-INS: Weigh-ins will be by weight class starting at approximately 8:00am. There will be a one (1) pound allowance. You should register for the weight you plan to make. All-Star/Academy teams (or combined teams) will not be permitted in the team portion of the competition. If there is a challenge it is the team?s responsibility to prove eligibility. RULES: NFHSA Rules will apply. Matches will consist of three periods: 1:00 - 1:30 - 1:30 QUALIFIER FOR ISWA MIDDLE SCHOOL DUALS TEAM: This event is a qualifier for the ISWA Middle School Duals Team. The top 2 Wrestlers in each weight class are guaranteed a spot on Team Indiana Gold or Blue. If the first place finisher declines, the 3rd place finisher will be invited and so on.
