EMAC Conference Wrestling Tournament Saturday, February 4, 2017 Eagles Nest Gymnasium, Adams City High School 7200 Quebec Parkway, Commerce City, CO 80022 Weigh-Ins: 7:00 am in the wrestling room. There will be a one pound weight allowance over the January growth allowance weight, (106 lbs -> 109 lbs., etc) Start Time: Coaches meeting will begin immediately upon completion of weigh-ins. Wrestling (on 3 mats) will begin as close to 8:30 am as possible. Participating Schools: Adams City, Aurora Central, Brighton, Gateway, Hinkley, Northglenn, Prairie View, Rangeview, Thornton, Westminster, Vista Peak Rosters: Each team will be required to enter their roster into trackwrestling. Athletic directors and head coaches will receive an email soon with login information and instructions. The tournament is listed under ?EMAC Championships.? You must have all participants entered into the tournament by Thursday Feb 2th at 10:00 pm. All seeding criteria must be entered by Friday, Feb 3th by 10:00 pm. Format: This will be a bracketed, double elimination tournament. Seeding will follow CHSAA, option A: 1. State champion/place-winner, with higher weight class taking priority over lower weight class. 2. Regional champion/place-winner 3. Win percentage (15 match minimum, losses added to record to total 15 matches). 4. Head to head results to move a wrestler up only one seeding place at a time. Admission: All Day: Adults: $12.00 K-12 students, seniors $10.00 Finals only: Adults: $6.00 K-12 students, seniors $5.00 Children under 5 and cheerleaders in uniform are free ?
