2020 CHRISTMAS CLASH DUALS The Christmas Clash Duals has an Elementary, Junior High and Girls Division. Information for all is below. This is a USA sanctioned event so all wrestlers must have a USA Card Girls Division - 8th grade and below (January 3rd) Weight classes: 55,60,65,72,79,85,92,101,105,110,119,127,145 (13) Junior High Division - 8th grade and below (January 3rd) Weight classes: 71,77,83,87,92,97,102,106,110,119,130,149,187,265 (14) -We have changed our weights for 2020 to match the Salt Lake Slam individual tournament weights the best we can, some will not be the exact same. -No weight allowance and must weigh in with competition singlet or two piece uniform. -Wrestlers can not be wrestling in High School to compete in the duals (must be 8th grade or younger) -We will be capping the event at 16 teams. We will run a 16 team line bracket and then break out to pools for the final 3 duals. Elementary Division - 6th grade and below (January 3rd): Weight classes: 45,49,54,59,63,67,71,74,78,82,92,100,117,135 (14) -We have changed our weights for 2020 to match the Salt Lake Slam individual tournament weights the best we can, some will not be the exact same. -No weight allowance and must weigh in with a competition singlet or two piece uniform. -Wrestlers must be in elementary school (6th grade and below) -We will be capping the event at 16 teams. We will wrestle a 16 team line bracket. Schedule: *Schedule is tentative and may change based on number of teams. If it changes it will not be significant changes though. Weigh ins- -Weigh ins for the Girls Division, Junior High Division and Elementary Division will be Thursday, January 2nd from 2-7 p.m.. You can either weigh in onsite or schedule a satellite via facetime weigh in with Raider Lofthouse. All wrestlers must weigh in on Thursday. -If you are hosting a satellite weigh in via FaceTime you must fill out the contract below and submit it with your weigh in time to Raider Lofthouse no later than Wednesday, December 26th. -All weigh ins will count for the Salt Lake Slam but the wrestler must compete in at least 1 dual meet for their weigh in to count. Thursday, January 2nd -Weigh ins from 2-7pm (onsite or via satellite) Friday, January 3rd -8:45am: JH rd 1 & Girls rd 1 -10:15am: JH rd 2 & Girls rd 2 -11:45am: JH rd 3 & Girls rd 3 -1:15pm: JH rd 4 & Elementary rd 1 (12 mats) *use 4 mats for Elementary, half teams wrestle this round -2:45pm: JH rd 5 & Elementary rd 1 (12 mats) *use 4 mats for Elementary, half teams wrestle this round -4:00pm: Elementary rd 2 (8 mats) -5:15pm: Elementary rd 3 (8 mats) -6:30pm: Elementary rd 4 (8 mats) Cost: Girls is $250 with 3 duals, Elementary is $350 with a 4 dual guarantee & Junior High is $450 with a 5 dual guarantee.
