2020 5A Dual State Championships @ Mt. View High School
Date: January 3-4, 2020

Format: Each team will wrestle 3 other teams on Friday and then be seeded into pools and wrestle 3 more duals on Saturday
Friday seeding criteria: We will separate teams based upon their returning points from last season (formula used to create divisionals). There will be 2 staggered start times so teams can wrestle 3 duals in a row on Friday
Saturday seeding criteria: For seeding into the pools on Saturday the following criteria will be used:
1. Dual meet record on Friday
2. Head to head competition on Friday
3. Total points scored as a team combined from all 3 duals on Friday
4. Individual dual tie breaker NFHS criteria
Fill ins: teams can have as many alternates as they want. If you have a hole, we will fill your hole with an alternate. Any fill ins will count as a forfeit in the overall team score for both days.
Team cost: $300/team
Patron cost: $10/adult for 1 day pass & $15/adult for a 2 day pass & $5/senior or child
Awards: Team trophies for top 3 in Golf, Silver Champion and Bronze Champion. Individual awards for undefeated wrestlers
Weight allowance:
- Friday - 2 pound growth allowance (108, 115, 122 etc.)
- Saturday - +1 (109, 116, 123 etc)

- 12:00pm: weigh ins
- 12:30pm: coaches meeting
- 1:30pm: round 1
- 2:45pm: round 2
- 4:00pm: round 3
Friday group 2
- 4:30pm: weigh ins
- 5:00pm: coaches meeting
- 6:00pm: round 1
- 7:15pm: round 2
- 8:30pm: round 3
Saturday schedule
- 8:30am: weigh ins
- 9:00am: coaches meeting
- 10:00am: round 1
- 11:15am: round 2
- 12:30pm: round 3
- 1:45pm: lunch break
