Eastern Kansas League Varsity & JV Wrestling Tournament Saturday, February 15, 2014 Location: Blue Valley High School, 6001 W 159th St, Stillwell, KS 66085 Phone: 913-239-4800 Teams: Bishop Miege, Blue Valley, Blue Valley North, Blue Valley Northwest, Blue Valley Southwest, Blue Valley West, Gardner Edgerton, Saint Thomas Aquinas Sessions: 10:00am Championship quarter finals on 3 mats – Main Gym Championship semi-finals on 2 mats and first round consolation on 1 mat (Consolation matches will be moved to all 3 mats after the championship semis are completed) Lunch Break: 30 minute lunch break following the conclusion of the 10:00am session 1:15am Consolation semi-finals on 3 mats 3rd, 5th, and 7th place matches on 3 mats when the consolation matches are completed 3:15pm Finals set-up 3:30pm Finals introductions Championship finals on 1 mat Note: All times are estimates and subject to change based on the progress of the tournament. We will run ahead of schedule if we get ahead. Tournament Format: Eight-man brackets will be used and we will wrestle out to eighth place with placing points being earned all the way out to 8th place. Awards: Team trophy will be awarded to the top team and medals will be awarded to the top three (3) individual finishers in each weight class. Admission: Admission is $6:00 for adults and $4.00 for students. League passes will be honored.
