TOURNAMENT FORMAT Teams Invited: Fredonia, Caney Valley, Eureka, Leon-Bluestem, Royster, Humboldt, & Cherryvale. Cost: $80 or reciprocal if we attend your meet. Location: Max Wilson Gymnasium (FJSHS) Coaches Meeting: 3:30 p.m. in the High School Theatre Wrestling Begins: 4:00 p.m. in the High School Gym Format: 4-man Round Robin Brackets (2, 3 or 4 wrestlers per bracket) We will try and group wrestlers by weight and ability as numbers allow. Team Points will be kept with 14 points for 1st and 10 points for 2nd. (Top Scorer Only) Medals given to the Top 2 Wrestlers in Each Bracket. Weight Classes: We will try and group wrestlers around the following weight classes: 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 127, 134, 141, 148, 155, 165, 180, and 265. (We will also look at a 215/220 grouping.) We do not encourage MS wrestlers to cut weight. On the entry form, please provide an actual weight based on a before/after practice weigh-in. Match Format: National Federation Rules apply with the following modifications: Three 1-minute periods with a 1-minute overtime and 30 second SD. We will be wrestling on 3 mats with 4 certified officials. The wrestling brackets will be divided into three rounds. There will be a 20-minute break at the halfway point of the event. Admission: $3 for adults and $2 for students. NO PASSES WILL BE ACCEPTED. Concessions: There will be a concession stand available in the FJSHS commons. Entries: We will be using Track Wrestling and your coaches need to expect an e- mail so they will be able to enter their wrestlers via Track Wrestling. You will enter your wrestlers online with the ranking criteria that is established. WE WILL ENTER GIRLS WRESTLERS INTO THEIR OWN BRACKETS! Notes: Tie-Breaker Criteria: 1.
