Team Alabama Youth State Wrestling Championships February 1st, 2014 A USA Wrestling Sanctioned Event Hosted By: Vestavia Wrestling Club Location: Vestavia Hills High School Directions: Click Here 2235 Lime Rock Road, Vestavia Hills, AL 35216 Important Information for the Youth State Wrestling Championship Qualifications: Alabama resident; must have competed in a minimum of 4 Team AL/USAW sanctioned events (minimum of 1 event at competition in advanced bracket at a Battle for the Belt tournament); minimum of a Full USAW Membership required (Beginners are eligible to compete but they must upgrade their USAW membership to Full (may be done at www.TheMat.com for a cost of $25) Wrestlers will be allowed to wrestle in only one weight class and only in their appropriate age group. The State Championship will be seeded, thus no true 2nd wrestle back bracket. MANDATORY PRE-REGISTRATION, Deadline: Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 11pm!! Please note that wrestlers will need their USA Card and Trackwrestling number to pre-register. Tournament Fee is $17 and paid online during registration on trackwrestling.com. Please add the wrestlers record information for seeding purposes. Register Now Any wrestler who fails to pre-register, before the deadline, will not be able to compete in the tournament. There will be NO late additions after registration closes!! Team Alabama will allow re-bracketing with a $25 re-bracketing fee if a wrestler needs to change weight classes.
