Team and Individual Open
Date: Friday, January 30
Individual Preregistration and Walk Entry Fee: $12 preregistration / $15 walk in.
(Individuals can preregister through Trackwrestling or register at the door on the day of the tournament.)
Team Registration: Team trophies will be given to the top two teams in the tournament. Coaches can preregister their teams by emailing the roster and prospective weights to Mel-Min High School (brodsky@mel-min.k12.wi.us). Upon arrival the coach can sign one permission form, pay the entry fee, then check each wrestler?s weight on a scale.
Team Entry Fees: $12 per wrestler or $100 for teams of 9 or more.
Admission: $3 for adults ? students free
Weigh-ins: 4:30 ? 5:30 Weigh ins will take place in three designated areas based on grades.
Divisions: 6th, 7th, and 8th. NOTE: Wrestlers are separated using the following criteria: weight, school, skill level. .
Wrestling Begins: approx. 6:15 Tournament Completion: approx. 9:30
Awards: Team Trophies for Top Two Teams / Individual Medals to 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Wrestling Format: Four-man round robin. We will make every attempt to get all wrestlers three matches. Wrestling Area: We will use three mat areas.
Refreshments: A concession stand will be available throughout the tournament.
First Responders: The first responders will be on site throughout the tournament.

Please fill out and sign this waiver form, present it when you pay the registration fee, have the wrestler?s weight recorded on the line, then take it to be recorded on Trackwrestling. Be sure wrestlers have their weight recorded on their hand.

In consideration of my son/daughter?s acceptance into the Junior High Open Wrestling Tournament January 30, 2015, my heirs, executors, and administrators, waive and release parents, coaches, sponsors, their agents, representatives, committees and members from any and all claims to damage for injuries in training, traveling (to and from the location), competing, or spectating during any phase of the tournament.
