No team is allowed more than 1 Varsity Boy or Varsity Girl entry in any bracket. All teams are limited to no more than 20 JV entries and NEISD schools are limited to 15 JV entries. Because of numbers, all varsity brackets will more than likely be effected by the 5 match rule. We will only run varsity on Saturday, as we did last year. Everyone will submit exact weights for all JV entries. We will need all coaches to help with the skin checks starting at 2PM on Friday the 9th. Buses should arrive between 1 and 2PM and will park on the Band parking lot in the back of the school. This can be accessed with a right turn from Walzem by the Benny?s Tacos. As JV teams arrive, teams should line up in the small gym by team to be skin checked by an unassociated coach. Possible DQs for skin will be referred to the officials. In the interest of time, please plan to be on time or early to weigh ins. As you arrive on Saturday all boys wrestlers will line up by weight class in the small gym. All girls will be lined up by weight class in the big gym. On Saturday weigh ins for varsity boys and girls will be at 7am sharp. We will do our very best to start the wrestling on time, by 8:30AM on Saturday and, by 3PM on Friday. On Saturday morning there will be a coaches meeting at 8AM in the hospitality room. All rounds will be completed without breaks, if possible, and wrestling will continue as we go through the finals. We will plan to have all finals matches in the big gym on mats 1,2,and 3.
