This tournament is a K-8 Boys/Girls Youth tournament open to anybody in the United States that has a USA Card. At this tournament we will have 2 gyms available, the auxiliary gym (lower level) for birth years 2009-2014, and the main gym for 2004-2008 and girls. *(you were born in 04 you must be in 8th grade. We will use mat-side scoring and trackwrestling.com to create brackets, age groups, and bout numbers in order to run the most effective tournament we can. All Weigh-Ins will be put in by coaches/parents through track wrestling in what you would call an honor system. We do have the right to check any wrestler in which there might be doubt. When in doubt if a wrestler is over the anticipated weight by more than 3 pounds a determination will be made by the Milton Monsters Tournament Committee. Once the determination has been made all decisions are final. In the case of a disqualified wrestler, prepayments will not be refunded and the wrestler will no longer be able to compete. We will have certified refs for grades 3-8 on site. Girls will have a separate division. In weight classes in which we have less than 3 girls, all girls in that weight class will be moved into a boys bracket. Wrestling will begin after 9:00 am once final brackets have been adjusted. Please register for the tournament as early as possible as we will bracketing beginning on Wednesday the 14th. If space is still available we will allow enrollment up until Friday the 16th until 5 pm. At that time final bracketing will be adjusted and prepared for the tournament. Final brackets won`t be released to the public until all scratches have been accounted for. Additionally, please bring fold-able chairs for the younger wrestlers as bleacher space is very limited.
