GENERAL INFORMATION - Jack Britt High School, 7403 Rockfish Road, Fayetteville NC - January 27th, 2018, weigh-ins start at 8:30 am, wrestling starts at 9:30 am. - Tournament will be wrestled on two mats in the Jack Britt High School main gymnasium. Tournament will be digitally scored in track wrestling with digital mat-side clocks and score sheets. - Teams: Seventy First, Jack Britt, Hoke County, Lumberton, Pinecrest, Richmond Senior, Scotland, Purnell Swett. - Weight Classes: 108(106), 115 (113), 122 (120), 128 (126), 134 (132), 140 (138), 147 (145), 154 (152), 162 (160), 172 (170), 184 (182), 197 (195), 222 (220), 285 - No team entry fee. Entry fee for spectators is $10.00 dollars per person for entire tournament - Tournament winners in each weight class will officially be individual Conference Champions and all weight class together will be 1st Team all-conference. - Team Champions may be considered Sandhills Conference team champions if there is a tie after completion of the conference regular season dual schedule. TOURNAMENT SEEDING - There will be seed meeting held at 4:00 PM, Friday January 26th. Meeting will be held via video teleconference. Contact number and website will be disseminated later/time. - Coaches must have all their wrestlers, with correct records, entered in track wrestling by 4:00 PM, Friday January 26th to be seeded. Once the seed meeting is complete there will be no lineup changes. Registered wrestlers that are unable to compete prior to tournament weigh in will result in a bracket redraw to redistribute bye. - Tournament seed criteria focus more on individual wrestlers? performance within conference competition, rather than overall season. Criteria and order is as follows: - Determine if wrestler has wrestled 5 conference matches this season (any weight). Establishes a baseline level of competition and prevents the 1-0 wrestler from automatic #1 seed due to win percentage. - Conference Dual win percentage (any weight). Primary seed criteria - Number of Conference Dual wins (any weight). 1st Tie Breaker - Number of total matches wrestled this season (any weight). 2nd Tie Breaker. - HEAD-to-HEAD
