COMMANDO CRUSH INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT Coaches, We have about twenty-four schools that have expressed an interest in entering and so in order to accommodate all the requests. I will not be able to include girls, JV, or Freshman in the tournament. I hope this will not prevent you from coming but with the strength of this tourney we will have to concentrate on varsity for now. We will run three mats in the HHS Gym. Spectators will not be allowed on the gym floor. Wrestlers, coaches, and officials only are allowed on the gym floor. Please let your fans know this. This helps with viewing the matches and provides a safer wrestling environment. Admission will be $10 dollars and there will be a concession stand available as well as tee shirts. Schools currently participating are: BGA, Bolton, Brentwood Academy, Buckhorn Al, Caldwell Co Ky, Calloway Co Ky, Cheatham Co, Clarksville, Dickson, DCA, FCS, Hendersonville, Overton, Lebanon, MUS, Mt. Juliet, NCS, Northeast, Northwest, Oakland, Rossview, Trigg Co Ky, Tullahoma, and West Creek Varsity Schedule We will weigh in at 7:30am ? 8:00am Scratch meeting will be right after weigh-ins Wrestling should begin @ 9am. Wrestling will continue until finished. Varsity Format We will run a regular tournament bracket with wrestle backs to 4th place. We could run into the 5 match rule in which case we will us the rule book criteria for determining placement if both wrestlers have had five matches, otherwise the wrestler who would be eligible to wrestle will be declared the winner Details The entry fee will be $150 varsity tournament Each team will get three hospitality passes Medals will be given to the top four boys varsity Team plaques will be given to the top three boys varsity Varsity seeding meeting will be Friday Jan 10 at 6:30pm in the school lecture room. Your varsity rosters must be received by Wednesday Jan 08 by 6pm. Please let me know if you will not be attending the tourney. I have a waiting list and I want to get a solid full tournament.
