Clarion University Freestyle Qualifier Tournament Date: Saturday, April 6, 2019 Location: Clarion University - 840 Wood Street - Clarion, PA 16214 Tournament Director: Keith Ferraro (814-715-1168) Entry Fee: $15.00 on-line and $20.00 on-site (You will need to register for Greco if you are doing both) Weight In`s: Weigh-in: 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM Wrestle: 1:00 PM Wrestler wishing to wrestle both styles needs to only weigh in once Time Periods Bantam, Intermediate, Novice, Schoolboy, Cadet and Wm. Cadet (2) 2 minute periods Junior, Wm. Junior and Open (2) 3 minute periods Time Periods may be adjusted as required. Double bracketing is permitted as long as athlete waives mandatory rest time between matches You may move up an age division but you will need to sign a waiver before entering. PAWF reserves the right to combine weight classes to ensure each wrestler has matches Double Elimination Tournament Standard Line Bracket PAWF State Qualifier This tournament serves as a qualifier for the PAWF State Championships. You must place (at least) 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th at one of the listed qualifiers to be eligible to compete in the State Championships. If you qualify in Greco, you automatically qualify in Freestyle (and vice versa). You may go up or down in weight at States, but you must qualify in your age division. USA Wrestling Membership 2018- 2019 USA Wrestling Cards are MANDATORY at every tournament and must be purchased on line prior to coming to a qualifier through USA Wrestling at https://www.usawmembership.com/index.jsp Athlete cards are $45. Make sure you bring your USA Wrestling Membership card with you to each tournament. If you forget your card, there is a $1 charge to look-up and verify your membership. USA/W Coaches cards must be purchased through USA Wrestling and will be required at all events.
