Tournament will start at 9:00am on Sunday.
Coaches meeting will start at 8:50. Please have your rosters in by 8:00 pm on Thursday night.
Just a few notes about the duals. We will be running 2 pools, and 3 mats. The plan is to have 5 duals per team. (If it looks like that is going to take entirely too long we may change it to 4) . Banners awarded to top three teams. Plaques awarded to the top two teams.
There are 20 weight classes. Wrestlers will be able to bump up one weight class. However you will not be able to move up and down out of the age divisions. For instance if you have a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grader that you want to wrestle in the 4th-6th grade division, he will NOT be able to go back down as a 1st-3rd grade division. Enter them in the 4th-6th grade weight class when you set your roster.
We encourage you to find kids from other towns if you need to fill weight classes, as you will register forfeits at weight classes where other teams have kids. Just like a regular dual.
We are not doing weigh ins. If a coach wants to challenge a weight, he will be able to do so for a $20 challenge. We will give a 3 lb allowance. If a wrestler is over weight then that team will forfeit that weight class for all five of its duals.
Once the duals start please have your kids in order, so we can run at a good speed. Every dual will run the 1st-3rd grade weights lightest to heaviest , and then the 4th-6th lightest to heaviest.
