If the top 2 Idaho placers have not wrestled each other they will wrestle to determine the true Idaho State Champion COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS / GUIDELINES - If the event is shut down for any reason (we do not anticipate that it will) we will give full refunds to all competitors. Due to COVID-19 certain precautions will take place such as: Covid-19 Safety Protocol & Precautions in place for July 24 & 25 - Temperature checks as everyone enters the building each day. Temperatures above 100.4 you will not be allowed in the building. - Temperature checks for athletes at weigh-ins any above 100.4 will not be allowed to participate - No handshaking among athletes, coaches, officials, workers or attendees - 1 coach to a corner - Coaches with USA Coaches Cards that are coaching are allowed to attend - Limit 1 parent per athlete in attendance. We MUST keep attendance down to allow for social distancing - Face Masks are required to be worn by all when in the building including: tournament staff, athletes and spectators (when not competing). We have 500 and will distribute as needed - officials will wear face shields and will not use whistles when officiating (will use verbal cues to run the matches) - Mats will be cleaned often - hand sanitizer will be available throughout the venue. We do encourage everyone to bring their own hand sanitizer as well - If you have been exposed to COVID-19 within 14 days prior to the event you should not attend or if you have any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 please do not attend - Only on deck athletes and one coach on floor at a time and athletes must be in the on deck circle behind the mat (on deck squares will be marked with red tape) - Social distancing will be encouraged at all times with announcements and signs - entry & exit moving people same direction on & off the competition floor - chairs will be setup 6 feet apart at the scorers table and head table - Age divisions will be staggered competition start times to minimize the number of competitors competing at the same time (see tournament schedule) - athletes will be assigned to the same mat for the entire session to minimize overcrowding in any one area - money will be collected through a cashless / paperless system (floor passes only) * We will combine weights if they are 3 and under and weights are close enough to do so Please be very exact with your email address as we will be communicating all tournament information to the address you provide. -The highest Idaho wrestler will be crowned the Idaho State Champion.
