LET?S TEST THEM ON THEIR ABILITY TO CONTROL AND PUT THEIR OPPONENTS ON THEIR BACKS.
( NO USA CARDS REQUIRED ! ) - NON-OKWA WRESTLERS ARE WELCOME!
Concept:
All wrestling rules will be the same with the exceptions of:
No points for takedowns, escapes or reversals.
The only offensive scoring will be for nearfalls and pins.

Division 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 15U After the Novice session, not before 1:30 PM - til completed
ENTRY FEE: $20.00 PER ENTRY
Teams pay when they arrive. No shows must be paid for. No double entries.
No team member will wrestle until all team members? entries are paid.

· ENTRIES ARE DUE BY : TUESDAY NOV. 9TH @ 12:00 MIDNIGHT - NO LATE ENTRIES.

FORMAT:
2 man brackets will be best 2 out of 3. (We will try to place them in an additional bracket no extra fee.)
3 to 4 man brackets will be round robin.
( 3 way ties ? most falls least time, then 2 way ties ? heads-up match determines placings )
5 or more entrants will be double elimination brackets with true 2nd place challenge matches.
NOTES:
· We wish to make NO changes of any kind at the event.
· TRIPLE CHECK your entries thoroughly before sending!
· Please email HWT entrants actual weight to the 10th of a pound to pywso@hotmail.com
· Wrestlers may enter only ONE Weight per Division. Can enter two Divisions.
· If needed, we will put them in an additional bracket with NO additional entry fee for matches.
· Wrestling will start after the conclusion of Novice, not before 1:30PM Saturday Nov 13th.

WEIGH IN: Must weigh in with a legal competition singlet on.

COACHES PASSES:
Current season OKWA Coaches Badges honored.
Submit coaches on www.okwa.us club management area for season badges.
Coach Floor passes will be distributed in pre-tournament coaches meeting.
GENERAL RULES:
· Child abuse, Abusive Language, Disorderly conduct, ETC., by anyone will NOT BETOLERATED, and will be dealt with severely.
· Absolutely NO SMOKING or Smokeless tobacco allowed anywhere on school property.
· Use of any TOBACCO PRODUCTS, prior to, during or after an event by coaches or contestants is flagrant misconduct and results in removal from the event, 2 team points deducted and no team points can be earned by a guilty contestant.
· NO FOOD OR DRINK on gymnasium floor area.
· ONLY tourney personnel, wrestlers and coaches with passes allowed on the gym floor.
We ask that coaches help us keep parents and fans in the bleacher section.
WRESTLING RULES:
· National Federation Rules except match length, hair code & out of bounds points.
· 45 minute rest between matches is NOT in effect
· Long hair is NOT required to be covered, abrasive hair does. No substances allowed in hair.
· Fingernails must be cut short. Braces must be covered with mouth guard.
· Shoelaces must be secured with double knot, tape, or shoe velcro devices.
· All officials will be O.S.S.A.A. carded. Their judgment and decisions will be final.
· ONLY TWO COACHES allowed at mat-side per match. Stay off safety mat area!
· After paging a wrestler to a mat, only two minutes will be allowed for his arrival before automatic default.
· No shows and defaults will be considered as a loss for that match.
MATCH TIMES:
All Age Divisions 1 minute - 1 minute - 1 minute
with NO Overtime Periods.
In case of a tie;
Match will advance to the ultimate tiebreaker criteria.
ADMISSION: $5.00 per person, Pre-school FREE
SCHEDULE:
Entries by Tuesday, November 9th before Midnight
Weigh In: Tues November 9th at your own facility
Brackets available for fan purchase for $1.00 each.
Tournament: Saturday, November 13th
John Divine Gymnasium doors open at 7:00 AM
Coaches meeting after Novice session concludes prior to Open session, not before 1:30 PM.
