Liberty High School (Gym) 11 Mats Saturday, December 18th Boys weigh in: 7:00 am, girls after boys. Boys wrestling starts: 9:00 am Aloha, Banks, Centennial, Clackamas, Cleveland, Dallas, David Douglas, Glencoe, Hood River Valley, Lake Oswego, Liberty, McMinnville, McNary, Oregon City, Pendleton, Redmond, Reynolds, Sandy, Silverton, Sherwood, St Helens, Thurston, Tualatin, Wilsonville, West Albany locker area will be provided. Each team is responsible for its own valuables. Hospitality room will be available for coaches and officials. Concession stand will be open all day. BE NICE! Team Trophy, and trophy for Champions only. JV weight classifications will have medals for first place. BOYS - The tournament will be set up in individual 32 person brackets. NO elimination. Two wrestlers from each team can be entered per weight. There may be a 16 man JV weight classifications to cover some weight classes as necessary. We reserve the right to move people into and out of the 32/16 brackets to achieve balance. Individual and team first place awards only. Everyone scores advancement points, but only first place scores placing points. We will seed the top 5 wrestlers in each weight if information is given. Each wrestler in the 32 man bracket will wrestle a possible five matches unless they have a bye or forfeit. Each wrestler in the 16 man bracket will wrestle a possible 4 times. Each team will be expected to provide help on the tables, this will allow us to have higher quality on the tables (11 mats). There will also be a girl?s tournament. Girls will be wrestling on separate mats and the standard girl?s weight classes. The brackets used will be dependent on numbers per weight. To expedite the tournament set up, we are asking all coaches to input the team roster before 10 pm on Thursday, December 16th. There will NOT be space for additional wrestlers.
