The AWC Open is event two in Team Alabama’s Battle for the Belt Series featuring elite level wrestlers from all across the Southeast on six full sized mats. Alabama USA Standards will be used for age divisions and weight classes, including true 2nd place matches, and both beginner and open brackets. Placement will be top four in each weight class and will score points in the Battle for the Belt Championship series. The AWC Yellow Hammer Outstanding Wrestler Award will be awarded to a wrestler in each age group. Wrestlers will be allowed to compete in multiple age groups and weight classes.
