Reminder:
School will still be in session until 4:05. There will be no where to park busses on the west side starting at 3:30PM. You might plan to drop off on the East side of the building and come to the backside gym entrance behind the stadium bleachers.
Format:
This year we will once again be using Trackwrestling to run our tournament online. We will not have a traditional seeding meeting as we have in the past. Each team will have a window on time to enter your athletes and their records. They will then be seeded into 4 pools of 4 wrestlers based on the criteria that we have entered with Trackwrestling. The athletes will wrestle all opponents in their pool. At the conclusion of pool wrestling the top two wrestlers from each pool will advance to the championship bracket the bottom two will be placed into a consolation bracket

Then it becomes a traditional 8 man bracket, wrestling out to 8th place.

A4 vs B3
Then it becomes a traditional 8 man bracket, the best a wrestler could do if 9th the worst would be 16th.
Entering and Seeding of Wrestler:
Below are the windows of time for `Statisticians` to enter information about their wrestlers
1. Will have from January 15th-January 19th to enter their lineup.
2. Seeding criteria will be pulled from the MSHSAA data pool for head to head and season record winning percentage.
3. Will have from January 19th-January 21st. to enter other required seeding criteria (returning State Qualifier or places in the State tournament 2015 and Returning Hickman Invitational Champion or Runner-up 2015).

Team scoring:
Will based on the activity points earned throughout the Pool rounds, Championship and Consolation brackets as well as the Placement points. Athletes in the Consolation bracket will only earn half the activity point for their team as an athlete in the championship bracket.

Weigh-Ins:
Weigh-ins will be held Friday beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the Boys locker room. The scales will be available at 3:30 for all to check weight.
Weigh-ins on Saturday will begin at 7:30 a.m. at Hickman High. An additional one-pound allowance will be given for the second day of weigh-ins. Scales will be available at 6:45 a.m.
Please notify me as soon as possible if your team will be competing on the Thursday prior to the tournament so that I can adjust the weight allowance and notify other schools.

Awards:
Medals will be awarded to the top 4 place winners in the Championship bracket. Please have wrestlers in uniform for their award presentations that will be held after the following weight class has been completed. Team trophies will be awarded for the top 3 teams based on points scored in the Championship bracket.
Locker Rooms:
Locker rooms are located just below the old gym. Please bring your own soap, towels, etc. Please bring locks, as Hickman will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.
Admission:
$5.00 on Friday
$10.00 for Friday and Saturday
$6.00 for a Saturday pass
Concession:
A fully, stocked concession stand will be open both days. Breakfast options available on Saturday morning Hospitality Room:
Will be open both days for all coaches, administrators, and adult table workers. Lunch will be served for coaches on Saturday at the break.
Entry Fee:
JD Coffman, Director of Athletic at Hickman High School will contact each school for the collection of entry fees. The fees will be divided between the schools in attendance.
