RE: Affton Invitational Wrestling Tournament, December 3, 2016 DATE: November 28, 2016 The format for the Affton Wrestling Tournament will be similar to two years ago. We have 12 teams this year. We will have two pools of four wrestlers or four pools of three wrestlers. It will depend on how we are able to fill out each weight class. Entries are to be done on Trackwrestling.com. Brackets will be drawn by Trackwrestling.com on Saturday morning. The on-line entry must be completed by needs to be filled out completely and e-mailed in later than 8p.m. on Friday, December 2nd. No wrestler who has not been entered by Friday December 2nd, will compete. Wrestlers, who do not make weight, will not be placed in another weight class. They may be only replaced. Schedule: 6:45 a.m. Scale is open 7:15 a.m. Weigh-ins begin 8:15 a.m. Coaches meeting 9:00 a.m. Wrestling begins, rounds 1 through 5. A 30-minute break for lunch will be taken between 12 noon and 1:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m. 1st and 3rd place matches. Awards will be made at the conclusion of all the matches. 6:30 p.m. Tournament completed. Awards: Team trophies for 1st and 2nd place. Individual medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Facilities: Lockers are available but locks are not furnished. Affton accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen items. Fees: All expenses will be pro-rated among the ten schools involved. Trainer: An Athletic Trainer will be on duty.
