THERE WILL BE NO FOLKSTYLE THIS WEEKEND. THE FREESTYLE AND GRECO WILL BE WRESTLED ON SATURDAY ONLY SO THERE WILL BE NO TOURNAMENT FRIDAY NIGHT, PLEASE SEE THE SCHEDULE BELOW. Location: Central Davis Jr. High (663 North Church Street, Layton, Utah 84041) Pre-Registration ONLY: www.trackwrestling.com (Must Pre-Register before 4:30 pm MST on Thursday 4/17/2014, You must also have a current USA Card) Cost: $12 per style Weigh-ins will be in remote locations and will be hosted by Chartered USA Clubs. Tournament Format: Madison Block 4-man round robin or line brackets. There will be no pre-determined weights. Wrestlers will be put into groups of 3-8 based upon their weight, division & skill level. Each group will be assigned a mat for the tournament and wrestle each other until the bracket is complete. The brackets and mats will change for each of the styles. We will also have staggered stats: Tournament Schedule: Saturday: 8:00-8:15am Coaches Meeting, Rules Clinic, & Officials Meeting Session 3: 8:30-11:30am Freestyle/Greco: Intermediate, Novice, Schoolboy Session 4: 11:30-Conclusion Freestyle/Greco: Fly, Bantam, Cadet, Jr. & Open (FLY AND BANTAM WILL START AT 11:30AM WITH THE CADETS AND JUNIORS. NOVICE WILL BEGIN AT 8:30AM ON SATURDAY) *We will start Freestyle and go immediately into Greco in each of the sessions when mats open up so make sure you are there at the beginning of the appropriate session. Match/Period Times: Greco: two 2 min periods, 30 sec. rest between periods, Schoolboy and below, Cadets and Juniors are two 3 minute periods Freestyle: two 2 min periods, 30 sec. rest between periods, Schoolboy and below, Cadets and Juniors are two 3 minute periods 10 min rest time between matches will be honored if requested Remember: Red and Blue singlet, Head gear for all Fly-Schoolboy.
