2016 HWS Wrestling Tournament Criteria Pre-Seeding is based on VARSITY competition from an athlete?s best season in NJ. 1) State Champion 2) 2nd in States 3) 3rd in States 4) 4th in States 5) 5th in States 6) 6th in States 7) 7th in States 8) 8th in States 9) Top 12 in States 10) Region champion 11) Won Prelim Match in States 12) 2nd in Region 13) 3rd in Region 14) 4th in Region 15) HWST Champion 16) 2nd in HWST 17) 5/6TH in Region 18) District Champion 19) 3rd in HWST 20) 4TH in HWST 21) Won a round in Regions 22) 2ND in District 23) 5th in HWST 24) 6TH in HWST 25) 3rd in District 26) 4TH in District Tiebreaker within Criteria ? Most wins from the current season. If the wrestlers are still tied then a coin flip will determine who is the higher pre-seed. Wrestlers entered in the tournament with no criteria will be pre-seeded base on the number of wins they have this year. Each win will be worth one point.
