Clash of the Titans 26nd annual Tartan Wrestling Tournament WHEN: Saturday, January 2th, 2016 WHERE: Tartan High School 828 Greenway Avenue North Oakdale, MN 55128 TEAMS: TARTAN, IRONDALE, P.E.M, CRETIN, HENRY SIBLEY,JOHNSON, PRINCETON WEIGH IN: Weigh in and Skin Checks at Tartan at 8:00 a.m. Remember the 2lb growth allowance will be in place after January 1st. Please notify us if you are wrestling on Friday so that we can let other teams know if there will be an additional pound. LINE UP: We will be using track wrestling for this tournament. More info will be emailed out. This is a varsity only tournament, but we will put in extra wrestlers to fill brackets. (This will be done at the coaches meeting) SEEDING: We will be seeding this tournament using trackwrestling criteria. We will have a coaches meeting at 8:30 (immediately following weigh-ins) on Saturday morning to make an minor changes. START TIME: Wrestling will begin at 9:30 on three mats. We will take a short break to give officials, coaches, and mat workers a chance to get something to eat after the first two rounds. AWARDS: There will be team trophies for the top three teams and medals for 1st through 3rd place at each weight. We will also award a Most Valuable Wrestler award, as voted on by all head coaches. REFRESHMENTS: There will be a concession stand open during the tournament, run by the Titan Wrestling Booster Club. A coaches and officials room is also provided. Please limit the room to coaches only. ENTRY FEE: The fee is $200.00 per team payable to ?Titan Wrestling Club.? Please bring a check along if you have yet to send it.
