We WILL NOT accept entries AFTER MAY 11th, for the May 14th tournament. WEIGH-INS WILL ALL BE REMOTE THIS YEAR. ALL REMOTE WEIGH-INS MUST BE DONE ON THURSDAY 5/12/22 ONLY! Maui`s Central location will be at Hi-Tech Surf Sports starting at 6pm. (More info to follow) Maui`s West side location will be at the Napili Surfriders practice location. (More info to follow) Hana Takedown must conduct a weigh in out in Hana. Moloka`i and Lana`i will need to also conduct their weigh-in on their islands. HANA AND ALL OUTER ISLAND CLUBS PLEASE LET US KNOW YOUR TIMES AND LOCATIONS. ANY MAINLAND WRESTLERS PLEASE EMAIL FOR MORE INFO. 8AM We will start to make our way downstairs to line up and start the March of the Champions! All clubs (and coaches) will organize in the first floor hallway, and march upstairs (behind a club sign) around the mat and line-up. As soon as the march is done, clubs will stay on the mat and start warming up. 930AM Wrestling will start! If coaches want to be on the floor, coaches MUST be USA Wrestling registered coaches. Please email your coach?s USA Wrestling numbers for all your coaches by May 12th to Lei Flores @808wrestling.maui@gmail.com. As soon as coaches arrive at the gym, you will receive your wristband and your weigh-in cards from the head table. ALL COACHES MUST SEE HEAD TABLE FOR THEIR INDIVIDUAL BANDS. Custom medallions will be awarded to the top three wrestlers in each division immediately following the final matches. 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U & 14U will wrestle folkstyle. High School and Open will wrestle freestyle. Coaches, the downstairs of the Lahaina Civic Center is totally off-limits. The amphitheater area behind the gym will be open for pop-up tents. Please control your kids in this area and outside in general. Please pick up your trash. In the past we`ve had kids pull fire alarms, destroy bathrooms, pull up plants and flowers, throw their trash every conceivable place except a trash can. We`re directly above county offices and next to the police and fire stations. Please monitor your kids. Parking: The county has instructed us that our coaches / parents / family must park in the area KA`ANAPALI MAUKA side of the gym. It?s a big parking lot.
