ALL Coaches Tournament Schedule: Friday, February 5 1:00 pm Teams arrive and have access to gym area only 1:45 pm Skin check and Weigh-ins begin in the wrestling room (right off the main gym) 2:30 pm Locker rooms will be available (school ends @ 2:10pm) 2:45 pm Coaches meeting in the wrestling room (after weigh-ins) 3:15 pm Doors open for ticket sales & spectators 4:00 pm Session 1 begins ? 1st Round/Quarter Finals Saturday, February 6 7:00 am Teams arrive and have access to gym and locker rooms 8:00 am Weigh-ins begin in the wrestling room (right off the main gym) 9:15 am Doors open for ticket sales & spectators 10:00 am Session 2 begins ? semifinals/consolation rounds 2:00 pm Session 3 Begins ( Approx time ) 3rd ? 6th place rounds 4:00 pm Championship rounds ( Approx time ) Weigh-In: Friday 2:00 p.m. Will be done by weight class beginning with 106 Skin Check Saturday 8:00 a.m. Mats: There will be 5 mats used for the 1st session on Friday night, There will be 5 mats for the 2nd Session, For the Final Rounds, we will have 2 mats and open the lower seating areas. Picture ID is required for all wrestlers. Scales will be located in the wrestling room. Scales will be open at 1:30 p.m. on Friday & 7:30 a.m. on Saturday. All contestants from a weight class will be weighed in and then we will move to the next weight class. The head referee plus a supervisor will serve as weigh-in officials. A coach or assistant must be present when wrestlers weigh in. Admission: Half Day Full Day 2 Day Tourn. No signs will be permitted except official school banners. The school/video photographer, school and newspaper reporters, and all other personnel (not designated as receiving Passes) will pay regular admission. Passes: Three (3) coaches passes (Send Names of Coaches to Lisa Kelly) no name = no pass One (1) pass per participant/athlete Two (2) managers per school Officials: Sub regional officials are assigned by the Western Wash. and Pacific NW Officials Assoc. Awards: Medals for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and ribbons for 4th, 5th, and 6th individual places. Publicity: Each coach is asked to publicize the SPSL Tournament through their school bulletins and home newspapers. Concessions: Sponsored by Kent-Meridian Wrestling Boosters Coaches: Each coach will be responsible for the conduct of his team during the tournament. Coaches? chairs will be limited to 2 per mat side. Coaches?/Officials? hospitality room is sponsored by the Kent-Meridian wrestling parents. It will be located in Room 124 and is only for coaches and officials. Video: Video area will be limited to the bleachers. Cameras will not be allowed on the floor. Locker Rooms: Locker rooms at KMHS will be available for the tournament. On Friday, February 5th, the locker rooms will be available beginning at 2:30pm. Each school is responsible for furnishing their own towels and for security of valuables. Lockers in the locker room may be used but are not guaranteed to be secure. Seating: All spectators must remain in the upstairs bleachers until the Final Rounds. Video and photography will not be allowed in the lower area. Trainer: A certified trainer and fully-equipped training room will be available. Buses: Buses can drop off in the back and then park in the back lot by the baseball field or in the East Wing lot.
