Coosa River Clash Seed Meeting: Will be done online through track wrestling. It can only seed correctly off of the information that you enter. Format: Wrestlers will be divided into pools. They will wrestle their pool on Thursday and then will be divided into an 8-man bracket. There will be a Gold, Silver, and Bronze bracket. So everyone will continue wrestling all weekend. This should guarantee wrestlers at least 5 matches for the weekend. When: December 21st and 22nd Where: Cherokee Center & Arena 801 Cedar Bluff Rd Centre, AL 35960 Hotel: I am currently working on getting a discounted price for wrestling teams that will be staying overnight for our tournament. I believe we will be able to get one of the hotels to give wrestling teams a good deal on rooms. I will keep you posted. Cost: $200 Time: Thursday: Weigh in from 10:30-11:30; Start wrestling at 12:30 Friday: Weigh in from 7:30-8:30; Start wrestling at 9:00 Awards: Team Trophies will be given out to the top 3 teams. 1st place team will receive a mounted catfish similar to the one above, 2nd place will receive a Crappie, 3rd place will receive a Bream. Top 4 in each weight class will medal and MOW will be voted on by the coaches and be awarded a Bass. Hospitality Room: Coaches I know you like to pick and choose tournaments on how good the food will be. I can guarantee we will have one of the best hospitality rooms all year. Bring an appetite.
