March 8, 2015 PARTICIPATING TEAMS: Blair-Taylor, Black River Falls, Cochrane-Fountain City, Arcadia, Eau Claire Regis, Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau, Independence/Gilmanton, Melrose-Mindoro, Mondovi, Osseo-Fairchild, and Whitehall. SCHEDULE: 3:30 ? 4:30 Weigh-In by Teams as soon as you arrive. 4:30 - 5:00 Coaches Meeting 5:00 - 6:30 Preliminaries & First-Round, 1st Round Consolation 6:30 - 7:30 Semi-Finals, 2nd Round Consolation 7:30 ? 8:00 Consolation Semi-Finals 8:00 - 9:00 Finals, 3rd, 5th, 7th Place Matches The above schedule is an approximate timetable. I am asking teams to show up promptly for weigh-ins as soon as possible. Wrestling will be straight through on 4 mats and we anticipate the rounds will go faster than indicated. FORMAT: Complete wrestlebacks to third place with a 5th and 7th place match. Wrestlers that have byes in the preliminaries will receive advancement points both in the championship and consolation bracket if they win their next match. WEIGHT CLASSES: (18 weight classes) 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 125, 130, 135, 140, 150, 160, 175, 190, 285 Each team will be able to wrestle one scoring wrestler per weight class! If there is room we will add in non-scoring wrestlers or move them up to the next available weight class. AWARDS: Team trophy for the champion. Individual medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. SEEDING INFORMATION: We will be using www.trackwrestling.com to enter rosters, seed the tournament, and administer the tournament. Please rank your wrestlers using the system with ?1? being an excellent wrestler. A ?3? should indicate an above average wrestler. Everyone else should be ranked a ?4? or ?5? and will not be seeded. ENTRY FEE: Please send or bring your entry fee of $85. Roster changes and record updates can be changed up to the deadline to be determined or made at the seeding meeting.
