BEECH GROVE HIGH SCHOOL FRESHMAN/SOPHOMORE WRESTLING TOURNAMENT SATURDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2018 Participating Schools: Beech Grove, Ben Davis, Cathedral, Edgewood, Greenwood, Lawrence North, Perry Meridian, Warren Central, Whiteland, Yorktown, Franklin Community. Lebanon, Roncalli, Bellmont Meet Information: · Weigh in: 7:15 am until 8:15 am (Please be on time, delays in weigh in will disrupt the schedule for the entire day) · Brackets will be determined by blind draw after weigh-in is completed. · Coaches meeting: 8:45 am · Wrestling will begin by 9:30 am (no earlier than 9 am) We Will Wrestle Straight Through. Please inform your parents and fans! General Information 1. Instruct drivers to park in West Parking Lot and enter through the Main Gym Entrance. 2. Dressing rooms will be assigned as teams arrive. 3. Instruct your wrestlers to bring locks to secure their belongings. Locker rooms will be shared and unsupervised at times. Beech Grove High School will not be responsible for loss of valuables. 4. Each head coach is responsible for the condition of his team?s dressing area and seating area. 5. We will use 3 mats and wrestle in the auxiliary gym. 6. Weigh in will take place in the wrestling room. All wrestlers must wear their warm up to weigh in. 7. Only 18 wrestlers per team and no more than 2 wrestlers to a weight class. Bring only freshman and sophomore wrestlers. Any wrestlers other than freshman or sophomore will be turned away. Any more than 18 wrestlers per team or 2 wrestlers per weight class will be turned away. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. 8. No team scoring. No team awards. 9. A hospitality room will be provided in the cafeteria for coaches and officials only. 10. Awards will be presented as wrestlers leave the mat. There will be no official awards ceremony. Medals will be presented to each weight class/bracket champion and ribbons to 2nd, 3rd and 4th place. *Some weight classes will be broken into two or more brackets depending upon the number of wrestlers in the weight class. **Awards will be given to place winners from each bracket. 11. Entry fee: $100.00 ? due by Wednesday December 5, 2018 12. Concession stand will be open. 13. Admission - all day is $5.00/no charge for pre-school.
