Welcome to the 12th Annual Verona Area Wrestling JV round robin tournament on January 10, 2015 at VAHS located at 300 South Richards Street. Junior Varsity: Round robin brackets - generally 4 man block weights. Weigh-ins at 8AM Wrestling will start as soon as brackets are completed. All matches will be 4 minutes in length (2-1-1). JV matches on mats 5 & 6 all day and some JV matches may be moved to Varsity mats if the dual on that mat ends early. (Trackwrestling criteria for tiebreaker) Weigh-in & Extra Pound Weigh-ins will begin at 8:00AM sharp with Varsity in the Wrestling Room and JV in the Auxiliary gym behind the curtain. We will use Trackwrestling list for weigh-ins and weigh-in by team. If you have a female wrestlers, please notify Coach Wozniak via email wozniak@skogen.com. Female weigh-ins will take place starting at 7:55AM for Varsity and JV females in the girls locker room. Verona Area has a meet on Friday night so an extra pound will be given. Coaches Meeting The Coaches meeting will begin at 8:30AM in the coaches/officials hospitality room. Locker rooms Locker rooms will be assigned on the day of the tournament. You will be responsible for your own belongings. Verona Area High School will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items. Awards JV Individual Awards - 1st and 2nd place wrestlers will receive medals.
