Coaches,
We would like to welcome you to the Region 6 tournament at Hendersonville High School. I wanted to give you a few details that will make planning easier for you.
Seeding Meeting:
Wednesday Feb. 6th at 6:00 pm in Room 225. Please park in the Cherokee Road parking lot and enter in the entrance on that side of the building. I will have the doors unlocked on that side. If you get lost call me at 615 509-5691. I will have light snacks and drinks available for you during the meeting. You will need to have your wrestlers entered into track wrestling by Tuesday at 9:00 pm. Your head to head and seeding information should be entered by Wednesday at 5:00 pm. In order for your wrestler to be seeded you must have updated their records in track prior to the seeding meeting so that their information is present in the system. This was voted on last year at the region meeting. I am including instruction on how to do this. Do this BEFORE you enter your kids into the tournament and AFTER you have made sure all your matches are in track.
Open Track and mange your team. Select ROSTER from the menu bar.
Click in the box NAME so that all your wrestlers have a check in the box beside their name
Click UPDATE SELECTED RECORDS from the menu
Once you have done this your wrestlers records will be on the right side of the screen under RECORD. Now you can import them into the tournament.
Weigh-ins:
Friday night the weigh-ins will begin at 4:00 pm and go through 5:00 pm. We would like to start wrestling at 6:00 pm so please be sure to make sure your wrestlers make weight so there will not have to be many changes in the brackets. We will only roll seeded wrestlers once the seeding meeting is concluded.
Saturday weigh-ins will be at 8:00 am ? 9:00 am. We would like to wrestle at 9:30 am. Any wrestler not making weight on Saturday will be a forfeit.
Hospitality:
We will have a well-stocked hospitality room for you and the tournament workers and referees. Your athletes are not allowed to go to this room. We will ask you to keep the food in the room and not to feed your team so the referees, workers, and yourselves will have plenty to eat during the two days. We will give hospitality bands to each head coach to distribute to his staff. Please only coaches not parents, drivers, etc? I will determine how many each team needs at the seeding meeting.
Friday there will be dinner starting at 5-ish. Saturday we will start in the morning and be open through the finals.
Gate:
There will be a ticket price of $6 Friday and $10 on Saturday. Kids under 10 are free.

Champ Semi-Finals ? 12:00 pm ? 2:00 pm * 2 officials per mat
Consolation Round 3 ? 2:00 pm ? 3:30 pm
Consolation Round 4 ? 3:30 pm ? 5:00 pm * 2 officials per mat
Placement Round ? 5:00 pm 1st ? 4th
Awards:
Medals will be given to the top four wrestlers and plaques to top four teams, MOW lower and upper weights, and best match of the finals. Coaches please vote at the head table for outstanding wrestler (don?t vote for your own kid) and best match.
Seating:
We are asking you to tell your fans they will be sitting in the upstairs bowl of the gym. Only wrestlers and coaches will be allowed on the floor. Anyone wishing to video their child can do so from the track overlooking the gym. It is a much better way to film and keep the view of the mats unobstructed. You can help us by letting them know so there is no confusion.
