2018 District One East Day/Date: Saturday, February 24, 2018 Location: Quakertown High School, 600 Park Avenue, Quakertown PA 18951 All District Tournaments are District-sponsored and will be conducted according to the procedures set forth by the District I Committee. The main entrance to the Gym is located on the 5th street side of the High School. Weigh-Ins: (Upper Gym) Saturday weigh-in & skin check at 8:00 AM (scales open 7:30 AM - 7:55 AM for unofficial weight checks) Officials: Mark Marino - Head Greg Fantazzi Jim Canaday John Mango JJ Willow Bob Hershey Schedule 8:00 AM Doors open to public (5th street Entrance ONLY) 8:45 AM Coaches meeting in Upper Gym 9:00 AM Wrestling begins on all 4 Mats and will continue to a short break prior to the Finals starting: Prelim & Championship-Quarterfinals (4 mats) Semi-Finals (2 mats) followed @ Round 1 of Consolations (2 mats) Consolation Semi-Finals (4 mats) 5th Place Bouts (4 mats) 2:00 PM (Approx.) 30-minute Break for Officials & Staff 2:30 PM Parade of Champions and Finals and Consolation Finals (2 mats) A 45 minute rest is required between matches as Per PIAA rules Top 4 Place Winners will advance to District One AAA Southeast Regional`s held on Friday March 2 and Saturday March 3 at Oxford High School Championship and Consolation Finals wrestling are to begin @ 2:30 PM by weight class on alternate mats. (Circumstances may require a change from alternating mats. (The Tournament Manager, Steering Committee Representative and Head Referee will make the decision) Concession Stand will be open all day
