The premier conference in college wrestling is without a doubt the Big Ten. Too many returning NCAA champs and All-Americans to count will take the mats in Lincoln, Nebraska on Saturday and Sunday to try and win a coveted Big Ten title. The middleweights will feature some of the most intriguing matches, especially at 165 and 174 lbs.

The University of Iowa wrestling team looks to defend its Big Ten team title in a little more than a week. One of its hottest competitors is senior 157-pounder Kaleb Young.

Penn State vs Iowa is an event that transcends the dual meet itself. The annual meeting between the Nittany Lions and the Hawkeyes has become a must-watch experience.

#1 vs #2 is always highly anticipated. Make it two of the most historic programs and college wrestling’s most notorious crazy venue, and you’ve got yourself a recipe for an A+ dual. On Friday, January 28 the #1 Nittany Lions of Penn State travel to Iowa City, Iowa, to take on the #2 Iowa Hawkeyes in what is the most anticipated dual of the year. The top-ranked Iowa Hawkeyes (10-0) take on #6 Ohio State (5-1) on Friday, January 21 in Columbus, Ohio, at 8 p.m. Eastern. Iowa's weekend plans temporarily got derailed due to Oregon State travel difficulties. The Hawkeyes' dual against the Beavers was originally scheduled for Saturday afternoon, then it got pushed back to Sunday, then it got scrapped altogether, which left Iowa scrambling for an opponent.

Week 4 of NCAA wrestling had another healthy dose of upsets, and a few freshmen notched wins that should get them into the rankings.
