Hosseinkhanis career spans over a decade and in that time he has seen much success while competing for Iran. As a cadet in 2006 Hosseinkhani won a gold medal at the Asian championships, repeating the performance on the junior level in 2008 and 2009. Hosseinkhani represented Iran at the senior level world championships in 2014 after wining a gold medal at the Asian championships that year.
