Batirmurzaev is the 2020 Asian Championships winner at 125 kg who qualified Kazakhstan for the Tokyo Olympics at 125kg in Men's Freestyle with his title at the olympic qualifier event in April of 2021. Batirmurzaev earned a bronze medal in the 2019 U23 World Championships and a gold medal in the 2019 U23 Asian Championships.
