Huseynov is a two time European Championships gold medalist, an Individual World Cup Champion, and a World Championships silver medalist who represents his home country of Hungary. Through a runner-up finish in the Last Chance Olympic Qualification Tournament, he qualified Hungary for the Tokyo Olympics at 77 kg in Greco-Roman.
