A native of Copley, Ohio, Yarbrough is the younger brother of Ohio state champion, and fargo All - American Marlon Yarbrough. The younger Yarbrough has already carved out his own name through the youth circuit of Ohio wrestling. Yarbrough is a two time youth state champion in Ohio while also winning the OH-WAY regional tournament, and finishing third at the OH-WAY state tournament in 2018. that same year, Yarbrough won the NUWAY nationals at 72 pounds. Yarbrough's success in freestyle/greco shouldn't come as a shock to fans.
